For the front-of-house live it's an ideal system for the front of house, because it's all DI. Presently I am using an Avalon U5 DI Box. Out of a need to develop something that I could use at home rather easily, I developed this system. I've been experimenting the last few years, using three different types of speaker simulators and not using any real live amp at all in terms of speakers or mic-ing speakers. Doors will open at 7:00PM with the clinic starting at 8:00PM. Metal Masters 4 will take place in New York City on September 7 at the Gramercy Theatre. The Guitar Center in-store promises to be an event not to be missed. There will be discounts on all Samson, Hartke and Zoom products and anyone who purchases one of their products will get moved to the front of the line. There is a limit of one item signed per customer. The signing will take place from 1:00PM to 3:00PM and will be comprised of Philip Anselmo (Pantera, Down), Kerry King (Slayer), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Charlie Benante (Anthrax), Frank Bello (Anthrax) and newly added masters Billy Sheehan and Gary Holt (Exodus/Slayer). The Metal Masters will be making a stop at Guitar Center in Union Square (25 West 14th Street) on September 6, a day before their sold-out clinic at the Gramercy Theatre.
